Feedback from parents/carers:
- Thank you for organising this over the summer. ****** and I were dreading the summer holidays but because of this she has had a great summer!
- We are so grateful for the summer activities; they would have been bored all summer without having these trips to look forward to.
- It was very good for him.
- It was a good idea, it stopped him going out & getting into trouble. It was something for him to look forward to and he loved it.
- He really enjoyed it.
- I would just like to say that I know the summer provision made a huge difference for xxx over the summer. It gave him such a positive place to be 2 days per week, and I know he loved all the activities. I had the pleasure of picking him up twice after sessions and he came out bouncing both times, it was clear he had a great day.
He had a fantastic time at Blackpool and Crosby- beach but I know he also really enjoyed the cooking and other, smaller activities.
He would have been at a real loose end without the summer school, and instead he had a welcoming, nurturing place to be. I think Clifton in general has been such a positive place for xxx, and the summer provision was an extension of that. Everyone genuinely cares about him, which he really feels, and it’s great for him to hear positive things about himself and have a safe place to be with friends.
I hope you get to run it again next year as no doubt all the young people involved got a lot out of it.
