Visits from our School Nurse
This year our students are having regular visits from our school nurse who is supporting our Sex Education Curriculum.
The subjects covered are around sexual health, including contraception and information about STI’s. Students have been very mature during the sessions, where they have asked relevant questions so that they are able to be more informed. It’s important to mention that we have chosen to teach Sex Education in single sex groups this year as the nature of the topics is sensitive and we feel it’s best shared with the students in this way.
