Providing our learners with opportunities to learn outside of school and develop a better understanding of how businesses work we visited a local garden centre. Whilst there, learners observed how the owners grow from seed to sales and discussed costs, selling price and profits.
They also learnt the garden centre sells a range of linked products to maximise business potential.
This was also linked to the Science curriculum including germination, plant growth, photosynthesis.
As usual our learners behaviour was exemplary, we are very proud of them.
